Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council Draft FPL 3b

The Council voted to approve FPL 3a in February 2020, which included one ecosystem project in Louisiana and another in Alabama. In March 2020, the Council solicited proposals for potential funding under Bucket 2 in the second phase of the Council's Funded Priority List 3, referred to as FPL 3b. In developing FPL 3b, the Council adhered to its FPL development processes, particularly as they relate to the use of the best available science (BAS), public engagement and transparency, and the Council's recently finalized Planning Framework. The activities included in draft FPL 3b are proposed to address ecosystem needs across the Gulf, taking into consideration the approved FPL 3a investments.

The draft FPL 3b will be available for public review and comment beginning November 16, 2020 and ending at 11:59 pm MDT on January 5, 2021. During this time frame, the RESTORE Council will provide an overview of the draft FPL 3b via live public webinars. In general, all comments received, including attachments and other supporting materials, will be part of the public record and subject to public disclosure.
