Wetland and Floodplain Statement of Findings

Because this project is located in floodplains and will impact wetlands, the National Park Service has prepared a Wetland Statement of Findings and a Floodplain Statement of Findings.

These documents outline the process for evaluating impacts to wetlands and floodplains as well as the steps taken to try and minimize the impacts as well as mitigation that may be necessary.

Part of this process it to solicit input from the public as a means of identifying if there are issues that have been missed or if there are concerns with any of the processes taken to understand the resources and potential impacts. The public is encouraged to review the attached documents and provide any comments that may help make this a better project.
