Old Town North EA Public Scoping


The National Park Service (NPS) values community input in shaping the development of the Old Town North Environmental Assessment. Your feedback is vital! We encourage you to provide feedback on key issues and opportunities to be evaluated in the planning process and incorporated into design alternatives. The comment period will be open from January 12 to February 12. There will be an additional opportunity to provide comment with the release of the draft plan.

Two files will be available for review and comment:

Old Town North Public Scoping Presentation. This 34-page document is the presentation file shared at the January 12, 2026 public meeting and includes an overview of the planning process and schedule, project background, purpose and need, and initial proposed action.

Old Town North Public Meeting Recording. The video with transcription will include all information presented by the National Park Service on January 12, 2026 as well as the question-and-answer period with meeting attendees. The public meeting recording will be posted as soon as available following the event.
