National Mall Telecommunications Infrastructure Plan - final

The goal of the plan is to identify the minimum amount of infrastructure needed to provide full 5G coverage from all major wireless carriers while protecting the views, character, and historic resources of the park (including the Washington Monument grounds, Lincoln Memorial, Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, Constitution Gardens, Jefferson Memorial, East and West Potomac parks, the Tidal Basin, and the Ellipse. The study also offers a consistent framework to guide how future permit requests for telecom projects are reviewed to ensure they align with the National Park Services preservation goals.
