White House Visitor Screening Facility - Environmental Assesment

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the National Park Service, in cooperation with the National Capital Planning Commission and in coordination with the United States Secret Service, prepared an Environmental Assessment to examine alternative actions and environmental impacts associated with the proposed construction of the White House Visitor Screening Facility at Presidents Park in Washington, District of Columbia. The EA is prepared in accordance with Department of the Interior (DOI) NEPA Regulations at 43 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 46 and the 2026 DOI Handbook of NEPA Implementing Procedures (516 Departmental Manual 1 Handbook).
