Horseshoe Bend National Military Park » Maintenance of Park Boundary
Through the use of Regular Cyclic Maintenance funds, the staff of Horseshoe Bend National Military Park will clear approximately eight linear miles (the entire park boundary) of vegetation to delineate the park's location from surrounding private lands. This will increase visitor safety and awareness of park location for issues relating to law enforcement, particularly when hunting season is upon us.
