North Rim and Roaring Springs Utility Rehabilitation Program

Grand Canyon National Park » North Rim and Roaring Springs Utility Rehabilitation Program

The National Park Service (NPS) is proposing improvements to provide more reliable utility systems to meet operational and visitor needs at the North Rim and in the inner canyon corridor from Supai Tunnel to Cottonwood Campground. Components of these utility systems have exceeded their design lives and experience failures, resulting in service disruptions or outages. The full scope of the North Rim and Roaring Springs Utility Rehabilitation project proposes improvements to electrical, wastewater, communications, and water systems at the North Rim and in the inner canyon down to Cottonwood Campground.
