Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for a Service Road Realignment to Provide Access to the City of Deer Lodge Wastewater Treatment Facility. This document evaluates the impacts of three actions: 1) special use permit for construction, 2) permanent modification to an existing road, and 3) a land exchange. The planning, repair, and financing of the new Wastewater Treatment Facility has been in progress for over ten years. This EA is a companion to an EA completed in June 2013 by USDA Rural Utilities Service for the construction of the facility.
