SAPU Fire Management Plan EA
Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument » SAPU Fire Management Plan EA
The National Park Service (NPS) is proposing to develop a Fire Management Plan (FMP) for the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, located in central New Mexico, approximately 70 miles southeast of Albuquerque.
The purpose of the action is to revise the existing FMP for the park, in order to comply with interagency fire policy direction, including strategic and terminology updates. The monument is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze the effects of the proposed project on the human environment and provide an opportunity for public input in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
