The NPS is seeking public input to guide the development of a Site Management Plan for Petroglyph Point at Lava Beds National Monument. The plan is in the early stages of development and the park is seeking feedback from the public and stakeholders.
Steps in the planning process are outlined below.

Step 1. Develop preliminary concepts and describe potential solutions (Fall 2024).
Step 2. Develop alternatives. The planning team will develop a proposed action and reasonable alternatives based on public input, safety considerations, visitor opportunities, and resource analysis (Winter 2024-2025).
Step 3. Conduct external scoping
Step 4. Analysis of public comment
Step 5. Release final plan/decision document to the public. Prepare to implement.
