The Texas White House rehabilitation project must comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).

The Texas White House rehabilitation project complied with the NEPA through the use of a categorical exclusion, and with NHPA through the execution of Programmatic Agreement with the TX State Historic Preservation Office.
