Design & Install Cable Road Multi-Use Path for Safe Beach & Lighthouse Access

This project aims to install approximately a one-mile-long Multi-Use Path to provide safe beach access to Nauset Light Beach from Nauset Road in Eastham, Massachusetts. Cable Road, a heavily used route, extends from the park boundary at Nauset Road, passes Nauset Regional High School and two historic lighthouse properties, and ends at the beach. While the path will cover approximately 1 mile, approximately ¼ of a mile is already developed as a path leading to the Three Sisters Lighthouses from the beach parking area. The new multi-use path will pick up where the current sidewalk ends at the Three Sisters Lighthouse park area and will be approximately 6 to 10 feet wide. The project will include clearing, minor site grading, trail construction, and signage.
