Welcome to the Lake Clark National Park & Preserve Coastal Management Plan website. The National Park Service (NPS) will use this website to display public information throughout the course of this planning effort. Meeting dates and locations will be posted here, along with project updates and documents for public comment.
The NPS is seeking your comments on the key issues and potential management strategies to improve visitor experiences and resource protection on the Lake Clark Coastline. These strategies are detailed in the 2024 newsletter, which may be found by clicking the "Open for Comment" link.

Following this first opportunity for civic engagement, the planning team will integrate public feedback and refine the key issues and potential strategies and continue to develop the plan. Another period of civic engagement will occur in the summer of 2025 and seek public and stakeholder input on the draft plan and environmental assessment.
