Place join staff from the National Capital Parks - East and the National Capital Region to learn more about the proposed project and how to submit your comments during the public scoping comment period. The virtual meeting will begin at 6 p.m. (EST).
 
Description:
The National Park Service (NPS) is hosting a virtual public scoping meeting. The meeting's objective is to share information about the proposed Suitland Parkway Trail Extension and Naylor Road Intersection Safety Improvements project and preliminary design options for the trail extension. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the meeting. The NPS will also provide information about how to submit comments during the public scoping comment period.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
The meeting is being held on Microsoft Teams. All links will be active on April 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. (EST). The meeting will begin with a presentation at 6:00 pm, followed by a question-and-answer session. This meeting will be recorded and posted to the project website following the event. An ASL interpreter and live captioning are available upon request. Please contact nace_superintendent@nps.gov by April 1, 2025, to request an ASL interpreter and live captioning.
