The National Park Service (NPS) proposes to extend the Suitland Parkway Trail from the D.C. border to the Naylor Road intersection in Prince George's County, Maryland. The NPS is also considering various safety improvements at the Suitland Parkway/Naylor Road intersection. An environmental assessment (EA) will be prepared to help inform agency decision-making and to support public review and comment on the proposed project. The steps in this planning process are described below.
